Thanksgiving is coming up in two more weeks and there are so many things to get excited about from all the mouth-watering food to the great shopping deals, but of course, spending time with the loved ones is my favorite. No matter how you choose to celebrate, you should plan for a few cute outfits. Today, I wanted to share some stylish Thanksgiving outfits that you can pull together whether you like to get dressed up or plan to keep it casual. I’ve broken the outfits down into three easy aesthetics to make browsing easier for you!
Cozy Comfort
I personally love a cozy sweater and there are so many ways to play with it. For a holiday like Thanksgiving though, I’m inclined to dress it down with distressed jeans and boots. If you live on the East Coast, it’s so easy pile on the layers to stay warm – think a wool coat and chunky knit scarf. Booties are my go-to since comfort is a top priority. A suede style in a neutral color will never go out of style, but snakeskin is a great way to update your look if you’re a sweater and tees kind of girl.
Elevated and Chic
A dressier take on your favorite sweater would be pairing a slim-fitting sweater with leather pieces. This is a look I would wear to meet the parents, for an office party, or going out to a nice dinner. It’s polished and feminine but still very approachable. I also love the idea of belted jackets. Anything that cinches at the waist looks instantly elegant.
Somewhere in Between
I love a good in-between outfit as much as I love casual pieces and getting dressed up. If you’re wanting to take your outfit up a notch without feeling out of place, a sweater dress and over the knee boots are the only outfit combo you need to know. However, leather leggings are another favorite of mine – you can go for seconds without feeling uncomfortable!
