In the summer, I’m all about bronze, glowing skin – without the sun of course. Getting a tan to look real is oftentimes a challenge, which is why the right products and technique can make such a big difference. With Memorial Weekend coming up, I wanted to share some of my favorite products and tips to fake the perfect tan.

Tan-Luxe Illuminating Self-Tan Drops
Tan-Luxe offers such an easy way to get that tan glow. To apply it, you mix these self-tanning drops with your favorite moisturizers. You’ll end up with a bronze tint in a matter of hours. I love that the formula is non-toxic and formulated with skin-loving ingredients like Vitamin E and aloe vera, which nourish the skin. Charlotte Tilbury Super Model Slimmer Shimmer Shape
Unlike other self-tanners, this one by Charlotte Tilbury comes in a roller style dispenser so you use only what you truly need. It leaves a beautiful, fine shimmer behind, which intensifies that glow up effect. I especially love this product when I’m on vacation because my skin always feels so smooth and looks extra radiant. Another bonus is that it absorbs fast so you don’t have to deal with tacky skin.
Dior Bronze Self Tanning Jelly
The Dior Bronze Jelly is available for both the face and body. Both of these are better if you’re into a natural sun-kissed glow that you can build on over a few days. The translucent texture glides easily over the skin, making it easy to apply and blend out. Just keep in mind that the results aren’t instant.
Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel
For a long-lasting tan, I’m a fan of the Clarins Self Tanning Gel. Not only do I adore the fresh, citrus scent, but the color payoff is impressive. I’ve never had to deal with any streakiness, splotchiness, or unwanted tones. It gives a nice, natural glow that’s also quite dark.
Vita Liberata Ten Minute Tan
Ten Minute Tan is great when you don’t have a lot of time but want to look like a bronze goddess in a matter of hours. It’s infused with Vitamin C and omega oils, which help lock in moisture and leave the skin looking smoother and more radiant.
Lancome Self-Tanners
Lancome’s Flash Bronzer comes with a transfer-resistant formula that won’t rub off onto clothing, making it perfect to apply on the go. It develops color pretty quickly and lasts pretty long, so it’s definitely worth the price. I love using this one on my legs and recommend using a mitt to apply it for the best results.
