One Blazer, Three Looks

When most people think of a blazer, their mind probably goes straight to work wear. Of course a blazer is great for business style, but you can get so much more use out of it than you think! So if you’ve got your eye on a blazer, but are hesitant to pull the trigger because you think you’ll only get a few wears out of it, this post is for you. Below I’ve taken one of my favorite blazers and styled it three ways so you can throw it on to make it look chic for almost any occasion.

Relaxed Business

We’ll start with the obvious like I mentioned above—work. But instead of just wearing it with your usual business wardrobe to the office, make it edgier for evening networking events or entertaining clients at a restaurant with these leather leggings by Hi Lo. They’re a staple for nights out where I need to look put together and stylish, but also comfortable.

The heel on the Alexander Wang booties is the ideal height for professional events. I always try and find a happy medium, especially if I know I’m going to be standing and mingling. It’s not the time to wear your highest heels, trust me. The block heel here makes these very reasonable comfort-wise. I also love this bag by JW Anderson and my AG denim jacket to add an effortless California vibe.

LEATHER LEGGINGS: HI LO similar
TEE: BOBI
BOOTIES: RAG and BONE

Weekend Chic

This is for when you have a weekend event during the day like a birthday brunch or coffee date. The blazer adds just a touch of sophistication to an otherwise casual look. Add a little nude pump like this Gianvito Rossi pair, some slightly distressed denim by Mother and a cute bag, mine is Celine, and you’re ready to go.

This look is flexible depending on what season it is. You have a nice pop of color with the turtleneck and the blazer to add layers.

SWEATER: HALOGEN
JEANS: MOTHER
PUMPS: GIANVITO ROSSI

Athleisure Crossover

The athleisure trend is here to stay, so it’s time to learn how to dress for it. This is about as casual as I’ll get.

You can do some really interesting mixing and matching like I did here with the Adidas pants and shoes combined with the more sophisticated blazer. It’s like opposites attract—when I’m dressing casual, I like to add a total opposite piece to complete the look. Plus, the Adidas pants are a reasonable price point and obviously are comfortable. I would wear this outfit to run errands or to a relaxed hangout with friends. My bag is JW Anderson.

I hope you guys like these looks and feel intrigued to add a blazer into your mix of weekly outfits!
